The Panov Attack lies at the intersection of the Caro-Kann, Nimzoindian, Sicilian, Scandinavian, Semi-Tarrasch, Ragozin and English openings. It often leads to the important isolated Queen Pawn position, one of the subtlest middlegame structures.
